SIENA. La Pinacoteca nazionale di Siena chiude un anno ricco di iniziative con tre eventi per accompagnare la cittadinanza e il pubblico alle festività natalizie.
Da venerdì 10 dicembre a lunedì 31 gennaio
Si comincia con l’apertura della mostra dedicata a nove opere del museo con il tema iconografico relativo alla Madonna dell’Umiltà che permetterà di ammirare alcune opere solitamente non esposte insieme ad altre normalmente visibili nelle sale, in un breve percorso dedicato ad una particolare rappresentazione della Madonna con bambino cara alla città di Siena nel Quattrocento.
Si prosegue con un concerto degli allievi dell’ Istituto superiore di Studi musicali “R. Franci” con l’esibizione di tre violinisti sulle note di Bach e Wiwniawski.
Seguirà una visita alle opere di Domenico di Pace detto “Il Beccafumi”.
Continuano le conferenze organizzate dalla Pinacoteca nazionale di Siena a Palazzo Chigi Piccolomini alla Postierla in collaborazione con il Dipartimento di scienze storiche e dei beni culturali dell’Università degli studi di Siena e con il Dipartimento di studi umanistici dell’Università per stranieri di Siena, oltre che con il contributo dell’Opificio delle Pietre Dure di Firenze . La prossima vedrà protagonista Alessandro Angelini con un intervento dal titolo: La “Visitazione e santi” di Pietro Francesco Orioli e l’impronta delle “Città ideali” di Urbino
