Intervento a "costo zero" per il Comune. Tondi: "Cittadini da ammirare"
ABBADIA SAN SALVATORE. A partire dalle ore 8 di mercoledì (21 ottobre) prenderanno il via i lavori per la ristrutturazione dell’arco di Sant’Anna, l’arco in pietra che da via Cavour immette nella stradina di congiunzione con Piazzale Michelangelo. L’intervento interesserà esclusivamente la parte interna dell’arco e consisterà nella demolizione e rifacimento dell’intonaco, nel recupero e nella sabbiatura del soffitto, nella realizzazione dell’illuminazione pubblica e nella ricostruzione del tabernacolo e realizzazione di un dipinto di Sant’Anna che sostituirà l’attuale stampa.
Ciò che è importante sottolineare relativamente a questo intervento, che restituirà alla comunità una piccola ma preziosa parte del proprio patrimonio storico-architettonico, è che esso è svolto integralmente grazie al lavoro dei volontari coordinati dalla direzione del Comune di Abbadia. Grazie alla disponibilità di cittadini e ditte locali che hanno messo a disposizione il proprio impegno in prima persona per il bene della comunità, sarà possibile completare quest’opera a costo zero per il Comune.
“Quando si innescano sinergie positive come questa – commenta il sindaco Fabrizio Tondi – Non si può che esserne felici e ammirare l’attaccamento dei cittadini di questa comunità al proprio territorio. Quello che questi volontari stanno mettendo in atto è un’incredibile dimostrazione di come si possa incidere sul bene comune e come Amministrazione non possiamo che sostenere questo tipo di iniziative. Quella dell’arco di Sant’Anna è una buona pratica che potremmo tentare di allargare anche alle altre porte del Centro storico che necessitano di intervento se altre situazioni di partecipazione attiva come questa dovessero verificarsi”.
