POGGIBONSI. Sabato ricorre il 75° anniversario della Festa della Liberazione che quest’anno sarà celebrata senza cortei e assembramenti a causa delle misure restrittive legate all’emergenza coronavirus.
Alle 11,30 sarà deposta la corona d’alloro al monumento alla Resistenza posto in piazza Mazzini. Una celebrazione diversa da quella degli anni passati, a cui parteciperanno esclusivamente il Sindaco come autorità deponente e un rappresentante dell’Anpi, per come prescritto dalle norme e dalle disposizioni in vigore. Un 25 aprile che oggi più che mai un modo per ricordare un momento cruciale della nostra storia e per esprimere il sentimento di unione di tutti i cittadini nei valori che la Liberazione dal nazifascismo rappresenta. Valori di libertà, uguaglianza e democrazia.
