Il coordinamento Giovani per la Libertà di Siena, nell’ambito di una giornata di mobilitazione generale a livello regionale in occasione delle celebrazioni per “La giornata del ricordo” in memoria delle vittime del genocidio anti-italiano commesso dagli jugoslavi durante la seconda guerra mondiale e dell'esodo giuliano-dalmata organizza domani (7 febbraio) presso Piazza Gramsci dalle ore 10:30 alle ore 18 un gazebo per la raccolta di firme a sostegno dell’ ordine del giorno che verrà presentato nel Consiglio Comunale di Siena per la intitolazione di una via o piazza cittadina ai martiri delle foibe.
Per l’occasione sarà contestualmente divulgato materiale informativo sulla vicenda in modo tale che tutti coloro che lo desidereranno potranno dibattere e approfondire le tematiche legate ad una importante fetta della storia italiana per troppo tempo dimenticata e sepolta dalla storiografia italiana specialmente di sinistra.
Data l’importanza della ricorrenza e dei temi ad essa connessi i Giovani auspicano la più ampia partecipazione da parte dei cittadini all’iniziativa.
