Evento presso l'UniSi, in collaborazione con il Comune di Siena, per celebrare il passaggio del Giro d'Italia
SIENA. Una rassegna fotografica dedicata al Giro d’Italia e al ciclismo in Terra di Siena per celebrare la corsa a tappe che il 19 maggio arriverà a Montalcino e il 20 maggio partirà da piazza del Campo: dal 17 al 21 maggio, nel cortile del Rettorato dell’Università di Siena sarà possibile visitare l’esposizione realizzata dalla Divisione terza missione dell’Ateneo in collaborazione con il Comune di Siena.
Un percorso di immagini che racconta la storia delle tappe a Siena del Giro dal primo passaggio nel 1913 e attraverso fotografie d’epoca parla del ciclismo nel territorio senese, dall’Eroica alle Strade Bianche.
La rassegna sarà visitabile liberamente tutti i giorni negli orari di apertura del Palazzo del Rettorato. Nell’occasione l’ingresso del Palazzo e il cortile saranno illuminati di rosa per celebrare la corsa.
L’Ateneo partecipa alla festa della città per il passaggio del Giro d’Italia anche con altre iniziative organizzate nella settimana.
Il 18 maggio, alle ore 12, sempre nel cortile del Rettorato, si terrà l’incontro con il giornalista Claudio Lenzi de La Gazzetta dello Sport, laureato dell’Ateneo. Lenzi, social media editor del quotidiano sportivo, dialogherà con il rettore Francesco Frati, con la partecipazione degli studenti di Uradio. L’incontro sarà trasmesso in diretta sui social di Ateneo e su Uradio e sarà un’occasione per parlare dello sport come veicolo e strumento di sviluppo di competenze trasversali e delle numerose iniziative dell’Università in questo ambito.
Il 20 maggio, nell’auditorium del Santa Chiara Lab, si terrà l’incontro con la pallavolista Maurizia Cacciatori dal titolo “Il valore delle Soft Skills. Apprendimenti dal mondo dello Sport”.
A partire dalle ore 15, interverranno insieme alla nota sportiva l’assessore per i Servizi all’Infanzia, Istruzione, Università, Formazione e Sport del Comune di Siena Paolo Benini e la professoressa Maria Pia Maraghini, moderati dagli studenti di Uradio. Sarà possibile seguire l’iniziativa anche in remoto sui canali social dell’Ateneo.
