SIENA. Un concerto che vede per la prima volta insieme sullo stesso palco Paolo Benvegnù e Moltheni (in foto), ed una scaletta di brani riarrangiati per l’occasione che riserverà molte sorprese. Tutto questo e molto di più, accadrà a Siena, domani (26 agosto), nella terza serata della decima edizione del festival “La città aromatica”, promosso dal Comune di Siena con Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena main sponsor e il contributo fondamentale della catena Royal Demeure e Siena Parcheggi.La splendida Piazza San Francesco farà da cornice ad un evento unico diviso in due parti (inizio ore 21, 15 – ingresso libero). Nella prima parte, si rinnova l’appuntamento con il “Nuovo rock italiano”: protagonisti gli Charme, una band nata nel 2003 con l’obiettivo di fondere generi musicali quali il gothic e il prog. Con loro sul palco è prevista per alcuni brani la presenza del direttore artistico Mauro Pagani da sempre disponibile a mettersi in gioco con le nuove realtà emergenti.Nella seconda parte il palcoscenico sarà di Paolo Benvegnù che con il nuovo cd “Dissolution” uscito lo scorso maggio, prosegue il suo felice percorso a un anno di distanza dall'ep “500” e a più di due da “Le Labbra”, album che ha fatto il pieno di elogi guadagnandosi un posto sul podio dei migliori album del 2008.
Eccezionalmente per Siena, per la prima volta insieme, con Paolo Benvegnù ci sarà anche Umberto Giardini alias Moltheni che dopo il successo de "I segreti del corallo" (2008) considerato il suo lavoro più rappresentativo e completo, ha conquistato grande successo di pubblico e critica con "Ingrediente Novus", prima raccolta ufficiale uscita nello scorso novembre 2009. Ed è ancora tutto da scoprire il programma a cui i due artisti daranno vita ma di certo l’appuntamento si preannuncia imperdibile. Venerdì 27 agosto, ci sarà la serata clou e conclusiva del festival, in Piazza del Campo con Lucio Dalla & Francesco De Gregori che in questo 2010 con il loro “Work in progress tour” hanno dato vita a uno degli eventi più acclamati e seguiti dal grande pubblico.
